Your Job Isn’t To Know How But To Experience
We all want adventure or at least some life experiences to feel like we’ve done something in our lifetime but aren’t willing to explore. We’re too chicken shit to chase our dreams. Are you?
BELIEVE IT, Write it, Breathe it, Meditate it, Prey for it, Set Reminders
The first step to accomplishing your goals and aspirations is to believe you can do it. That is where the real change begins and where you will get all your energy from. If your goals are always met with limiting beliefs of why you can’t do it then you will always only find ways and excuses not to achieve them.
Your mind is cluttered with responsibilities. You make time for everything and your goals always get pushed to the back of your mind. Everything takes priority except your dreams.
“Where attention goes, energy flows”. What you focus on will grow and develop. You’ve always been successful in where your thoughts have taken you. Where have they taken you?
Tell your subconscious to start working on ways to achieve your goals. You’ll start noticing subtle changes, creative ways, and possibilities in your life and goals by Believing in them, Writing them, Breathing them, Meditating them, Praying for them, and Setting Reminders.
Make a Vision Board
You’re always focused on the someday, but when? You keep leaving it for next year but next year never comes around. You’re always waiting for the perfect moment and you work and work hoping that suddenly everything will fall into place.
What place if you’ve never set the place and time?
Don’t think of a blue cow. What happened I told you not to. Crazy Right!?
Look around you, everything we’ve created has been by visualizing it and then making it into a physical object. Our brain works on images and if you don’t transfer it into something physical then you’re making it harder for your brain to understand what you want.
Spend time creating your dream life on a vision board. Cut out pictures of the places you want to visit, the people you want to meet or be like, and the experiences you want in life. Place somewhere you will look at it all the time. Take a picture of your vision board and set alarms to remind you to look at it.
Experience Life By Doing
Stop making excuses. We all can start even if it means a super small step at a time. A small marginal improvement. After a few steps, you will realize that you’ve been holding yourself back and that you’re way more capable than you ever thought possible.
Life is meant to be experienced, not just observed. Too often, we find ourselves stuck in routines, watching others chase their dreams or waiting for the “right time” to take action. But life isn’t a spectator sport — it’s a journey meant to be lived to the fullest by stepping out of our comfort zones and embracing the unknown.
Experiencing life by doing means saying yes to new challenges, exploring unfamiliar places, and pursuing passions with a hands-on approach. It’s about taking that road trip you’ve always dreamed of, learning a skill that excites you, or simply trying something you’ve never done before — whether it’s dancing in the rain or cooking a dish from a different culture.
Action is what brings our ideas and dreams to life. Every time you take a step forward, you learn more about the world and yourself. You grow through the wins and the failures, finding meaning in the process rather than just the results. By doing, you create memories, stories, and a sense of fulfillment that can’t be replicated by staying on the sidelines.
So take that first step. Sign up for the class. Book the trip. Start the project. The richness of life is waiting for you to dive in and discover it — but only if you choose to experience it by doing.
