The Subtle Art of Leading With Your Crotch

We get all serious when we set a goal. We hype ourselves up trying to be confident and finally feeling like this time we will succeed. But after just a few attempts we give up. We start making excuses about how it will be different next time, but more important things take priority right now. As soon as you “fail” you give up.

What can be more important than living the life that speaks your truth? Fear is what’s holding you back! Fear of Failure. Of wasting your time if you fail.

The thing is that failure is what you should be aiming for.

You do it every day, so why not do it for things that bring light to your life? We apply to many jobs, hoping that one gets back to us, we get into relationships, we hope this is the right person, or we even elect a president, hoping we make the right choice.

Not every job, relationship, or choice you make works out every time but you still do it. If you miss a bus, taxi, or flight, do you just give up or do you figure out when’s the next available ride?

Everything is a gamble, a trade-off, or a sacrifice. When you start paying more attention to where your focus/energy is going and what you actually want out of life, you start making wiser decisions that are for you and only you. Yet, your new light benefits all of us. You start happening to life instead of life happening to you. The same energy you put into surviving every day can be put into doing/thriving on what you want out of life.

Failure is where growth happens.

If it doesn’t work, start again, learn and adapt. Don’t fully commit to something you might not be able to back out from but do something. Stand up straight, move with confidence, and go for it. Make it work with what you have now and grow from there. We already spend enough money, time, and energy on things that keep holding us back. Use whatever you have available to you now and just start.

When you’re new at something, you already know you’ll fail, so just PLAY! GO FOR IT! DO IT!

Start that business, apply for that job, and ask that person out. Lead with your crotch. Start small if you have to. Test the waters for fun. JUST FOR FUN. JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN. Enjoy it, live it, breathe it!

Good luck my friend!
